Yardi Systems Application Solutions Consultant in New York City, New York

The Application Solutions Consultant, Investment Management role will position and effectively demonstrate software to C-level executives in fund administration and investor accounting for real estate assets and other alternative asset classes. This individual must be a motivated, goal-driven team player who is well organized, a self-starter, and has the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating products at a comprehensive level with a consultative approach
• Providing subject matter expertise in a pre-sales capacity for prospects, partners, and strategic alliances on Yardi’s Investment Management solution
• Demonstrating software for partnership/fund accounting and related business activities to client’s accounting staff
• Participating in sales calls and meetings with Account Executives and prospects
• Setting up demonstration systems, demonstration data and managing presentations
• Interacting with product development and marketing to provide prospect and customer feedback as well as product issues, field implementations and observed market trends
• Working with the sales and marketing teams to ensure field readiness
• Providing product training for the internal sales team
• Completing RFPs and RFIs as required
• Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or other related field
• 5+ years of experience in software sales or presales and/or fund accounting and administration
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to present complex information to non-technical users
• Ability to understand sales strategies and consultative selling and relationship building techniques
• Must possess engaging presentation style, and the ability to interface with C-suite prospects and clients
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite to include intermediate/advanced level PowerPoint skills
• Working knowledge of fund accounting and/or fund administration or partnership accounting in private equity real estate highly desirable
• CPA highly desirable but not required
• Experience with year-end and quarter end close processes and interacting with the CFO desirable
• Strong communication and networking skills in a virtualized sales organization
• Strong team orientation, self-driven, and highly ethical
• Must be able to travel up to 50%; this role requires domestic and limited international travel
