As a Marketing and Production Intern at TVC (part of The Economist Group), you will learn from seasoned producers, digital strategists, and editors while working on exciting and varied projects spanning the globe.

Showcase your creativity as well as build your personal portfolio in a fun and exciting environment. You'll have the opportunity to put your design skills to good use, working on a wide variety of projects for both print and digital as well as working with video.


How you will contribute:

  • * Assist with the project bidding and pre-production process

  • * Provide on-location support during NYC-area shoots

  • * Other duties as assigned

Experience, skills and professional attributes

The ideal skills for this role are:

  • * A passion for the video production process and some previous experience

  • * Basic knowledge of video pre-production, production, and post-production

  • * Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Media Encoder

  • * Knowledge of video codecs and file formats

  • * Experience with Microsoft Excel, Smartsheets

  • * Attentiveness to detail and strong organizational skills

  • * Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly

  • * Works well independently and in groups

  • * Ability to receive and give detailed feedback

  • * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • * Energetic and enthusiastic

  • * Collaborative and fun

  • * Eager to learn the ropes of video production
