JOB DESCRIPTION
21st Century Fox is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team. This individual will be involved in the preparation of reports and related analysis for monthly management reporting, quarter close, quarterly forecasts and the annual budget process, as well as various ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects. Key skills would include high attention to detail, strong communication skills, self-starter, highly organized and an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Corporate Finance Team, the responsibilities of the Financial Analyst will include the following related to P&L and Cash Flow reporting:
Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis for both forecasted and actual results.
Annual Budget reporting and analysis
Data input, processing, and output
Analyze financial results and report on variances
Financial reporting system and report maintenance
Assistance with supporting documentation and analysis for quarterly SEC filings (e.g. 10-Q, 10-K)
Perform numerous ad-hoc requests and special projects
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
0-3 years work experience
Knowledge of Microsoft packages (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
High attention to detail and organization
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects
Strong written and communication skills
Quick learner who is both motivated to work independently as well as a team player
Previous use of HFM or Hyperion reporting a plus
Previous experience with SharePoint / database management a plus
