Job Description:

Investment Banking IT (IBIT) team is a global support team, delivering a wide range of services, and partnering with Investment Banking business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost-effective manner. The objective of IBIT is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of services.

Your Role
  • The vacancy is for a technical specialist providing live systems support for the Investment Banking end users at a 2nd level desktop support role within our environment.
  • The Role Holder must have the ability to own and resolve incidents End-to-End and work closely with other Technical areas e.g. Desktop, IT Security etc.
  • This role will participate as a resource for task-based activities which may or may not be project based.

Essential Skills
  • 3+ years' experience within desktop and end user support environments, including hands on client facing support, 3rd level incident management support, implementation, application migrations, mobile support, remote access support, virtualization support and optimization of our end user devices
  • 3+ years of escalation IT support experience
  • 3+ years' experience supporting an Investment Banking/front-office corporate environment
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Experience working within a large enterprise solutions environment across multiple geographic environments
  • Scripting skills- Power Shell, VB, Excel VBA
  • Experience working with windows desktop OS, Virtualization, Remote access, Mobile Support and application support
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of systems and technologies
  • Technical documentation management
Desirable Skills
  • BA/BS degree preferred
